Red Hott Pepper is a beautiful and exciting individual. She is correct, unusually stylish in her carriage, and she has an extremely good trot with beautiful flexion; her trot is spectacular and she can really cover ground. Part of her style is the way she always trots with her head up and her neck flexed correctly at the poll; this is entirely natural and “bred in” with her. Another part of her style is her always straight (never wry) high flag tail carriage which is so Arabian and so beautiful. Red Hott Pepper certainly catches everyone’s eyes; this has been the case since the first day she was foaled.

Her sire, *Rushan Ahsb, was a halter champion in England as a young horse before being brought to the United States. I like having both his English and Egyptian blood. Red Hott Pepper’s dam is Indian Pepper (see about this outstanding mare in the reference section). I bought Indian Pepper with the idea in mind of breeding her first to *Rushan Ahsb and I am more than thrilled with the result. This appears to be one of those exceptional ‘golden crosses’ that works even better than one hopes.
